We work with public entities, such as schools and municipalities, and the private sector to provide turnkey design and contracting services to upgrade their aging facilities and infrastructure. We target energy savings, renewable resources, and other sustainability components to help pay back the initial capital investment.

As one of the founders of the company, Mario focuses on delivering the strategic vision and mission of the company. Mario understands that building meaningful relationships with client leadership and governance is of the utmost importance to success.

Ben Terpening

Partner

As one of the founding members of the company, Ben focuses on executing business operations. Ben prides himself on being efficient in this space, helping drive out waste for customers.

Mario and Ben are graduates of UW-Platteville holding Bachelor of Science Degrees in Industrial Engineering. Both are former members of McKinstry, a national ESCO based in Seattle WA. Mario and Ben were instrumental in the growth of the McKinstry Madison Office from 2011 to 2016, with over $100M in energy efficiency projects completed.

Upper 90 has seen steady growth which has allowed us to bring on additional team members who have been carefully selected for their experience, expertise, culture, and attitude. Our in-house team has HVAC, lighting, and solar PV design capabilities—including RFP generation and solicitation, energy modeling, etc.
